Primary Responsibilities
- Authorized signatory for cGMP-compliant documentation including equipment sequential logs, temperature and humidity logs, daily to monthly cleaning records of manufacturing areas, balance calibrations, in-process and under-test approval labels, and tool set usage and cleaning records.
- Sign-off on Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), in-process and finished product test requisitions, and bulk quarantine/staging room in-out logs.
- Manage day-to-day production activities within the Tablet department's FBE section, ensuring the achievement of production targets in quantity and quality while maintaining GMP adherence.
- Assist fellow officers in manufacturing and control functions related to the Tablet department.
- Support the establishment, maintenance, and updating of procedures in line with Good Manufacturing Practice guidelines.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Quality Control departments on validation, GMP, and product quality matters.
- Conduct GMP training for staff and operators across departments.
- Optimize departmental resources including manpower, materials, and machinery.
- Prepare daily activity reports concerning departmental operations.
- Oversee calibration, qualification, and validation processes for equipment and products within the department.
- Manage procurement requests for machinery, spare parts, change parts, and required materials.
- Prepare and execute destruction notes as necessary.
- Maintain GMP documentation such as equipment logbooks, environmental monitoring, and housekeeping records.
- Train subordinates and manpower to align with organizational goals and ensure GMP compliance.
- Guide teams to standardize production processes, enhancing efficiency and product quality.
- Act as Officer in Charge during the absence of the designated officer.
- Coordinate with Warehouse & MIS for material requirements to meet production schedules, and collaborate with Engineering for preventive maintenance planning.
- Prepare and revise Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and Protocols for new products or machinery, and ensure their proper execution.
Job Requirements
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm / M.Pharm).
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 2 years in related manufacturing operations.
