Role Overview

The Executive Director of Operations at TIYAC Energy will spearhead the daily operational management of the organization, focusing on improving efficiency, fostering productivity, and enhancing profitability for ongoing business growth. This leader will shape operational policies, coordinate multi-department teams, refine business processes, and ensure daily activities are in sync with the company’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct the operational activities of all business departments, optimizing workflow across the organization.
  • Create and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to advance company objectives.
  • Champion business process improvements that boost efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Analyze and track operational KPIs, guiding teams to meet and exceed targets.
  • Partner with fellow executive team members on company strategy and tactical business initiatives.
  • Supervise the management of budgets, resource allocation, and financial forecasting to ensure peak performance.
  • Maintain regulatory compliance and uphold high-quality standards across operations.
  • Identify potential operational hazards and establish contingency plans for robust business continuity.
  • Drive organizational change and continuous improvement initiatives across functions.
  • Align cross-functional teams for streamlined execution of goals and projects.
  • Lead workforce planning, employee development, and performance management for operations staff.
  • Oversee technology adoption and process automation to boost operational outcomes.
  • Foster strong partnerships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive operational reports to executive leadership and board members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or a related field; MBA highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 15 years of ascending experience in operations management, including executive roles.
  • Demonstrated competence in managing large-scale operational structures and diverse teams.
  • Solid expertise in business operations, workflow optimization, and organizational design.
  • Hands-on experience with budgeting, financial oversight, and managing performance metrics.
  • Superior skills in leadership, communication, negotiation, and sound decision-making.
  • Excellent analytical thinking and creative problem-solving capabilities.
  • Adeptness at handling multiple projects in a fast-moving environment.

Preferred Expertise

  • Background in strategic planning and leading transformation efforts.
  • Proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or related continuous improvement frameworks.
