Job Summary and Responsibilities

• Ensure productivity by collaborating with forwarders to arrange shipments promptly and preparing error-free shipping documents for both domestic and export shipments.
• Coordinate with the Chamber of Commerce to secure timely logistics-related certificates such as COO and AIFTA.
• Work alongside production and packing teams to determine transport packing dimensions and maintain costs within purchase order budgets.
• Coordinate with project teams to plan shipments on schedule following Incoterm guidelines.
• Achieve cost savings by negotiating and finalizing freight rates for export shipments and optimizing costs in full truckload and export shipments.
• Ensure on-time delivery of shipments without damage or demurrage charges, including follow-ups with forwarders for on-schedule vessel sailing and delivery compliance with Incoterm terms.
• Maintain zero shipment discrepancies by working closely with forwarders and customers to resolve any issues.
• Drive improvements in logistics by developing new vendor relationships to reduce costs and preparing detailed sales reports covering costs, gross margin, categories, HSN codes, regions, and intercompany sales.
• Ensure timely vehicle placements for loading activities including full truckload, export, and less-than-truckload shipments.
• Collaborate with the finance team on submitting LC-related documentation and ensure timely freight bill submissions to facilitate vendor payments.
• Coordinate with sales teams to ensure shipments are ready and arranged on time.
• Manage daily preparation of electronic invoices, e-waybills, and delivery challans for multi-vehicle and special project shipments.
• Submit logistics bills to finance including all supporting documentation and approvals within targeted timelines (within 2 days of bill receipt).

Qualifications and Competencies

• Minimum educational qualification is a B.Com degree or any graduate degree.
• Preferably male candidates with 3 to 5 years of experience in invoicing processes; familiarity with SAP and export clearance procedures is an advantage.
