Job Overview
Poddar Car World Private Limited seeks a competent Evaluator to perform precise assessments of pre-owned vehicles for Maruti Suzuki True Value. The role demands adherence to ISI-quality standards to ensure all vehicle inspections deliver reliable, transparent, and accurate reports.
Key Duties
- Examine used vehicles focusing on mechanical, exterior, and interior conditions.
- Conduct test drives to evaluate vehicle functionality.
- Generate comprehensive evaluation reports aligned with ISI inspection norms.
- Provide accurate pricing estimates considering vehicle state and current market conditions.
- Identify any needed repairs and estimate refurbishing expenses.
- Collaborate with procurement and sales teams for the vehicle acquisition process.
- Travel throughout Lower Assam for on-site inspections.
- Maintain complete documentation and records of evaluations.
- Ensure uniformity, clarity, and quality across all inspections.
Candidate Requirements
- Fundamental understanding of automobiles and their mechanics.
- Familiarity with standardized inspection procedures; knowledge at ISI-level standards preferred.
- Strong observational and analytical capabilities.
- Readiness for frequent travel as the position is field-based.
- Basic skills in reporting and documentation.
- Possession of a two-wheeler driving license is advantageous.
- Minimum education qualification is completion of 12th grade; graduates are preferred.
- Previous experience in automobile evaluation or inspection is beneficial.
Compensation and Benefits
- Monthly salary range between ₹8,000 and ₹18,000.
- Performance-based incentives from ₹3,000 to ₹5,000 monthly.
