Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced ETL Test Engineer with robust Python development skills and expertise in data and ETL testing. This position is based in Bengaluru and involves working closely within Agile teams to ensure data accuracy and completeness in large-scale data migration projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement comprehensive ETL and data validation test cases.
- Conduct thorough database testing and reconcile data across diverse systems.
- Develop Python-based automation frameworks for testing activities.
- Partner with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to maintain high standards of data integrity.
- Engage actively in Agile rituals including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Between 5 to 9 years of professional IT experience.
- At least 4 years devoted to Python programming and scripting.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in data validation and ETL testing.
- Proficient with relational databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, and Oracle.
- Good grasp of Agile methodology and software development lifecycle processes.
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience with large-scale data migration and ETL workflow validation.
- Strong ability to write effective SQL queries and perform data quality checks.
- Collaboration skills within Agile teams.
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
Eligibility
Applicants should hold a B.Tech or B.E. degree in Computer Science & Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, or Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning.
