Role overview
MAX STREICHER GmbH & Co. KG aA is looking for a calculator/estimator to support tender and contract-related evaluation work at its Oelsnitz, Saxony site. The position centers on reviewing incoming bids, preparing pricing for offers and change orders, joining award negotiations, and checking contract documents.
Responsibilities
- Review incoming invitations to tender from a technical standpoint.
- Prepare cost calculations for offers and subsequent change requests.
- Participate in negotiations related to contract awards.
- Examine contracts carefully before finalization.
Requirements
- Successfully completed a university of applied sciences or university degree in civil engineering, mathematical economics, business administration, or an equivalent qualification such as master craftsman or technician training.
- Professional experience in construction is an advantage, though motivated entry-level candidates are also welcome.
- Working knowledge of relevant rules, standards, and regulations.
- Strong commitment, adaptability, independent working style, and ability to work in a team.
