Position Overview

We are seeking an Estimator with more than four years of relevant experience to join a team of three, reporting directly to the Estimating Manager. This role involves preparing and managing project cost estimates to ensure alignment with project objectives and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyzing project blueprints and specifications to assess requirements.
• Performing site inspections to collect necessary data related to project needs.
• Researching prices for construction materials, labor, and equipment for accurate budgeting.
• Developing thorough cost estimates based on gathered information and project plans.
• Communicating estimates clearly to clients and project leadership.
• Working closely with project teams to ensure cost estimates support overall project goals.
• Tracking ongoing project expenses and updating estimates to reflect actual costs as projects progress.

Candidate Profile and Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of construction techniques and materials.
• Experience in cost estimation and managing project budgets.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related discipline is preferred.
• Proven background in handling tenders for projects valued from $5 million to over $20 million.
• Proficient in cost estimating software tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
