Overview
We are looking for an experienced ESG Reporting Specialist to join ERNST YOUNG LLP remotely from India. This role requires extensive expertise in environmental, social, and governance reporting, particularly within the banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI) sector. The ideal candidate will have practical knowledge across the complete ESG reporting lifecycle and a strong understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage over 8 years of experience in ESG to manage reporting projects effectively.
- Serve BFSI clients, including banks, non-banking financial companies, and asset managers, providing ESG reporting expertise.
- Interpret ESG reports throughout all stages of the reporting process.
- Map and align ESG regulations and frameworks such as ISSB, TCFD, BRSR, EU Taxonomy, and CSRD to client requirements.
- Identify and map ESG data metrics across various business functions for comprehensive reporting.
- Conduct data collection and validate disclosures related to ESG performance.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative ESG disclosures to derive meaningful insights.
- Perform gap assessments and benchmark against industry frameworks and peers to enhance reporting quality.
- Structure disclosures appropriately and prepare thorough ESG reports for stakeholders.
