Overview
A major aerospace manufacturing company is looking for an experienced and driven IT Systems & ERP Support Specialist to take ownership of ERP support, IT infrastructure, and day-to-day end-user assistance. This role serves as the main contact for ERP and IT-related issues, helping keep business and production systems stable, secure, and efficient.
ERP Support and Administration
You will handle first- and second-level support for ERP users across the business, with responsibility for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving the ERP platform. Experience with IFS ERP is preferred. The role also includes working with master data, access permissions, workflows, reporting, software upgrades, and ongoing improvement efforts, along with creating user guides and delivering training.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, and bring 3 to 7 years of experience in IT support, infrastructure administration, or ERP support. Prior exposure to IFS ERP is an advantage.
Technical Environment
Strong hands-on knowledge is needed in Microsoft 365 administration, Windows Server, Active Directory, networking, virtualization, backup solutions, and cybersecurity best practices.
Industry Experience
Experience supporting manufacturing operations is important, and background in aerospace environments is especially desirable.
Soft Skills and Work Style
The role calls for excellent troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving abilities, along with the confidence to assist both technical and non-technical users. You should also be comfortable working in a fast-moving environment and balancing several priorities at once.
