Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and multi-talented Handyman to become part of our maintenance team in Abu Dhabi. Your core responsibility will be to perform a variety of repair and upkeep duties across the facility to maintain high standards of condition and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine inspections of property structures and equipment to detect maintenance needs.
• Execute general repairs including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and painting tasks.
• Install and assemble fixtures and equipment as required.
• Diagnose and solve maintenance problems promptly and effectively.
• Respond quickly to maintenance requests and urgent situations.
• Ensure the work environment remains clean and safe at all times.
• Manage inventory levels for maintenance supplies and tools.
• Coordinate with other maintenance team members and external contractors when necessary.
• Maintain thorough records of maintenance activities and repairs completed.
• Comply with all relevant safety standards and building codes.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• At least 2 years of experience in maintenance, repair, or related fields.
• Competent in diverse maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
• Basic understanding of HVAC systems.
• Capable of safely operating a variety of power tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Physically able to lift weights up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible to work during evenings, weekends, or on-call situations as required.
• Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
• Trade certifications related to maintenance are advantageous.
• Good command of the English language; Arabic knowledge is a benefit.
• Awareness of local building regulations in Abu Dhabi is a plus.
