Engineer, Projects - Technical Projects Department

Position Overview

This role is focused on supporting the Technical Projects Department at ADNOC Group, aimed at ensuring the execution of approved performance objectives while driving innovation and continuous improvement in operational processes.

Main Responsibilities

• Assist in achieving the department's performance goals in alignment with the company performance framework.
• Develop and apply new tools and methodologies to enhance process quality and operational efficiency.
• Evaluate internal procedures to identify optimizations based on best industry practices, developing smart solutions to challenges within the function.
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environment (HSE), and sustainability protocols as per international standards and ADNOC HSE Regulations.
• Contribute information for management information systems (MIS) and progress reporting to company leadership.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• At least 6 years of experience in multidisciplinary engineering roles focused on asset and facility design, including exposure to Front End Engineering and Design (FEED) package preparation.
• Understanding of gas extraction, processing plant operations, production engineering principles, and project management.
• Solid grasp of engineering fundamentals and FEED project experience.
• Familiarity with legislation and regulatory standards pertinent to project engineering.
• Knowledge and application of HSE practices specifically for the Oil & Gas sector.

Professional Certification

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification in project management is required.
