Electrical Site Engineer

About the Role

Esnad Contracting Company is looking for a qualified Electrical Site Engineer to join their team based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This position involves overseeing all electrical activities on construction sites to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards.

Primary Responsibilities

• Examine and verify electrical drawings to ensure alignment with project specifications.
• Manage and supervise onsite electrical installations including wiring, electrical panels, lighting, power distribution systems, and low-current systems.
• Collaborate effectively with consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams to facilitate smooth project progress.
• Track daily project execution to guarantee adherence to the established schedule.
• Assess and approve electrical materials and equipment prior to their installation.
• Perform inspections, testing, and commissioning before handing over the project.
• Ensure all electrical works meet safety protocols, quality benchmarks, and technical specifications.
• Maintain daily and weekly reports detailing work progress.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges during project execution with appropriate engineering solutions.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Have at least five years of experience working as an Electrical Site Engineer within construction projects.
• Demonstrate expert knowledge in electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and low-current systems.
• Capable of reading and interpreting complex electrical drawings and technical documentation.
• Experience in conducting testing, commissioning, and quality inspections of electrical installations.
• Solid understanding of relevant safety regulations and quality standards.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate well across teams and solve problems effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD; familiarity with project management software is a plus.
