Role Overview

An international school in Abu Dhabi is looking for a committed Early Years Teacher to begin in August 2026. The role focuses on creating lively, play-led learning experiences aligned with the EYFS framework while supporting children’s academic, social, emotional, and physical growth in a caring and inclusive setting.

What You’ll Do

• Plan and deliver engaging early years lessons based on play-based learning principles and the EYFS framework.
• Support the development of children across academic, social, emotional, and physical domains.
• Create a warm, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and confidence.
• Use effective classroom management approaches suited to young learners.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive and supportive school experience.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a closely related discipline.
• A recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, PGDE, QTS, or an equivalent credential.
• Prior experience teaching EYFS or Early Years learners, ideally in a British curriculum or international school environment.
• A solid grasp of child development and play-based teaching methods.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management abilities.
