Role Summary
The Duty/Night Manager plays a crucial role in hotel operations, primarily overseeing front office activities while ensuring exemplary guest satisfaction, safety, and seamless daily functioning. This managerial position involves maintaining service standards, managing staff performance, and driving profitability and guest loyalty aligned with Accor’s core values and vision.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide leadership presence and operational oversight across hotel departments with an emphasis on front office functions.
- Drive profitability by achieving both quantitative and qualitative departmental targets.
- Lead, inspire, and support front office personnel to consistently deliver superior guest services.
- Implement and champion guest experience initiatives across the property.
- Ensure guests receive a flawless and enjoyable experience from check-in to check-out.
- Cultivate lasting relationships with guests to enhance loyalty.
- Anticipate guest needs and proactively address them.
- Resolve guest complaints escalated beyond the front line swiftly and effectively.
- Monitor guest satisfaction through the Voice of the Guest program, online reviews, surveys, and internal feedback mechanisms.
- Demonstrate commitment to Accor’s vision and values during daily activities.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management or an equivalent qualification.
- At least three years of experience in a comparable role.
- Previous experience in leadership positions is advantageous.
- A service-oriented nature combined with a genuine passion for hospitality.
- Familiarity with Opera PMS or equivalent property management systems.
- Exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to lead by example.
