Role Overview

This permanent full-time position involves operating heavy machinery and driving vehicles safely while performing labour duties within civil construction projects. The role supports the Civil Works and Presentation Division, focusing on maintaining civil infrastructure with high safety and operational standards.

Key Duties

  • Operate plant equipment and drive heavy vehicles competently and safely.
  • Carry out general labour tasks as directed by Construction and Maintenance Forepersons.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment to meet operational objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Mandatory possession of Class MR Driver Licence, Construction Induction Card (White Card), and Load Shifting Plant Operator competency.
  • Minimum previous experience as a truck driver holding at least a Class MR licence.
  • Preferably experienced operating a grader and/or holding a Class HR licence.
  • Advantageous to have crane track (hiab) operation experience and a background in construction.

Additional Information

  • Salary package starting from $63,976 gross per annum plus 12% superannuation.
  • Working 38 hours weekly on a permanent full-time basis, following a 9-day fortnight schedule.
