About the Role
Alliance Automotive Group UK & Ireland is expanding its motor factor network in Ireland and is hiring a Delivery Driver for its NAPA Auto Parts business in Carrick-on-Shannon. This role offers the chance to support a growing automotive brand as it strengthens its presence in Ireland, Europe, and globally.
NAPA Auto Parts UK & Ireland is part of the worldwide NAPA network, which operates in more than 6,000 locations. The business supplies high-quality parts, tools, and equipment for light vehicle mechanics and automotive enthusiasts, with over 260 locations across the UK and Ireland. Its product range includes items from leading OEM manufacturers, OE-matched quality suppliers, and exclusive brands designed for independent garages, motor factors, and car enthusiasts.
What You Will Do
As a Delivery Driver, you will handle the timely movement of goods between branches and along assigned routes. The role includes preparing customer orders, loading and unloading vehicles, checking deliveries, and maintaining strong communication with route dispatchers and internal customers.
- Pick customer orders, load vans according to company standards, and verify that orders are assembled accurately.
- Coordinate dispatch and van deliveries across assigned routes.
- Deliver orders to internal customers on scheduled routes.
- Stay in regular contact with the route dispatcher.
- Unload goods in line with customer requirements.
- Review deliveries with customers to confirm the items meet expectations.
- Collect proof of delivery and customer sign-off where required.
- Check supplier deliveries, report any shortages or damage to the line manager, and put stock away.
- Support cycle stock counts and help ensure all inventory is stored in the correct location.
- Help keep the workplace clean, organised, and safe.
What You Need
The employer is looking for someone with strong punctuality, flexibility when required, and a full ROI driving licence. A customer-focused attitude and the ability to support day-to-day operations in a busy automotive environment will be important.
