Job Overview
This full-time driver role is based at Taiko's Acton site and focuses on warehouse operations, delivering and receiving chilled and frozen goods, and maintaining high standards of stock management and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand the operation and products thoroughly to support daily tasks.
- Maintain high reliability, flexibility, and punctuality.
- Drive a van to collect chilled and frozen goods as required.
- Unload delivery trucks safely using a forklift.
- Verify received goods against delivery notes for accuracy in item types and quantities.
- Check temperatures of chilled and frozen products before approving deliveries.
- Report any stock shortages or warehouse equipment failures promptly to supervisory staff.
- Label all incoming stock accurately with barcodes and GRN numbers.
- Place stock items correctly within the warehouse based on guidelines.
- Pick stock items following the planner's instructions using first-in, first-out methods.
- Keep warehouse and yard areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Break down cardboard boxes and consolidate bales in assigned areas.
- Assist the dispatch team whenever needed.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures consistently.

- Good command of English sufficient for effective job performance.
- Strong sense of punctuality, reliability, and flexibility.
- Ability to undertake ad hoc tasks as assigned.
- Proficiency in driving vans and forklift operation for unloading activities.
