Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and certified inspector with expertise in drilling equipment and non-destructive testing (NDT) to conduct inspections and provide comprehensive testing services. This role involves working both onsite and offshore within the Algerian region to ensure equipment safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed inspections of drilling equipment and perform various NDT services in adherence to industry standards.
- Carry out inspections at offshore and onshore installations, as well as at customer sites across Algerian territory.
- Manage drill pipe inspection activities following API and DS1 procedural requirements.
- Prepare thorough inspection reports and maintain daily timesheets utilizing company databases.
- Ensure all equipment is operated according to manufacturer specifications and maintain equipment safety by reporting any identified faults.
- Comply fully with quality assurance, health, safety, and environmental (QA, HSE) protocols, along with internal company guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized workplace environment throughout operational tasks.
- Provide daily progress updates and reports to supervisors.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience with drilling equipment inspection and performing NDT services.
- Minimum education requirement is a High School diploma complemented by certifications in magnetic particle testing, liquid penetrant testing, visual inspection, electromagnetic inspection, and ultrasonic wall thickness measurement.
- Ability to understand and interpret inspection standards and procedures documented in English.
- A minimum of three years of relevant professional experience in the field.
- Effective communication skills in English are required.
