Role Overview
Located in Los Angeles, the District Manager will spearhead the development and management of Vuori's fast-growing retail footprint. This leadership position demands a seasoned multi-unit retail professional capable of ensuring operational excellence, exemplary customer experiences, and motivated teams. Engaging deeply with local communities, you'll coordinate with Marketing to plan and execute store events and activations that resonate.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple Vuori stores through regular meetings, site visits, and leadership conversations, continuously enhancing operational workflows.
- Lead hiring for store roles aligned with strategic staffing goals, reinforcing customer engagement and a world-class experience through diverse team building.
- Foster a culture emphasizing ongoing performance feedback, coaching, training, and recognition grounded in core Vuori values and competencies.
- Maintain compliance with labor laws and partner with HR to resolve employee relations matters effectively.
- Keep current on retail onboarding and training programs, actively engaging in store trainings and offering improvements to HQ and Store Managers.
- Serve as the communication bridge between headquarters and retail stores, facilitating a two-way feedback channel to enhance employee experience and business performance.
- Collaborate with the New Store Opening team to successfully launch new locations within the district.
- Drive district sales by supporting Store Managers in executing effective short- and long-term sales strategies.
- Ensure visual merchandising and brand standards are upheld across stores, including windows, displays, and fixtures.
- Assist with store scheduling and payroll, ensuring adequate staffing and policy compliance including holiday pay and overtime.
- Monitor and coach on budget management at district and store levels to optimize financial efficiency.
- Maintain store standards covering merchandising, marketing, cleanliness, inventory levels, backroom orderliness, and safety protocols.
- Innovate within the community by helping develop strategies to engage new and existing markets, building strong local partnerships with studios, gyms, teams, and athletes.
- Act as a brand ambassador locally, cultivating meaningful ties with customers and community stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Over 8 years of progressive retail management experience, including at least 4 years leading multiple store units.
- Relentless dedication to enhancing customer experience and consistently exceeding expectations.
- Proactive, ownership-driven approach to problem-solving and continuous business improvement based on team and customer feedback.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as business demands.
- Comprehensive experience managing budgets effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships, drive collaboration, and manage multiple projects in a dynamic growth setting.
- Expertise in human resources functions such as recruiting, onboarding, payroll, and performance management.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

- Annual base salary ranging from $129000 to $165000, varying by location, experience, and qualifications.
