The Dispatcher plays a crucial role in organizing all transportation services for participants and potential enrollees while ensuring vehicle safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Align drivers, participants, and clinic teams through precise documentation, immediate updates, and prompt communication.
• Manage scheduling changes including add-ons, cancellations, no-shows, and last-minute adjustments to maintain a smooth participant experience.
• Contribute to a holistic care approach by coordinating transportation that supports participants in feeling cared for, respected, and connected to their healthcare.
• Create and adjust daily transport schedules to accommodate dynamic operational needs.
• Execute active dispatching operations each day to support transportation logistics.
• Maintain an up-to-date daily call log for operational monitoring and communication purposes.
• Respond to inquiries and requests from the HUB efficiently.
• Update participant transport schedules according to changes in Direct Line communications.
• Document cancellations and no-shows efficiently and communicate missed appointments to the clinic team.
• Provide weekend dispatch coverage when necessary.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant professional experience may substitute for formal education.
• At least four years of experience in public or private transportation sectors.
• A minimum of two years working specifically in dispatch roles.
• Possession of a valid state driver’s license and active vehicle insurance.
• Willingness to participate in DMV pull notices, alcohol and substance testing programs, background checks, and DOT physical examinations.
• Meet age and driving eligibility criteria under WelbeHealth's commercial auto insurance program (typically 25 years or older; some exceptions for ages 23-24 and drivers over 70 with medical certification).

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly wage ranging from $23 to $27.27 USD, combining base pay and potential bonuses.
