Role Overview
We are seeking a Director/VP of Sales to lead consultative selling efforts with Fortune 1000 brands, shopper teams, and media agencies. The role demands expertise in creator marketing and influencer landscapes, strong digital and social media knowledge, and success as a proactive, solution-driven salesperson. Preferred candidates have existing relationships within CPG, QSR, finance, or healthcare/pharma verticals and will manage the full sales journey from prospecting to closing, acting as a trusted advisor.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage directly with Fortune 1000 companies and their agency partners to advocate for creator marketing and the benefits of creator-driven content.
- Utilize a consultative sales method that aligns with client goals while maintaining a focus on timely deal closure.
- Passionately communicate the value of targeted, trend-forward, large-scale creator content solutions.
- Leverage data-driven media insights to penetrate client accounts and secure sales.
- Forge strategic client relationships through substantial ($1M+) annual and multi-year contracts.
- Manage sales pipelines to close deals within the quarter and cultivate opportunities for future quarters.
- Build portfolios from scratch, mentor team members, and prepare for elevated leadership roles amidst company growth.
- Contribute to refining partner strategies by becoming a primary storyteller and educating clients on platform best practices.
- Apply creativity, accountability, and a profound understanding of Linqia's offerings and business models.
- Operate effectively in a fast-changing environment, balancing priorities and working independently.
- Handle a growing sales funnel and maintain consistent quota accountability with corresponding rewards for exceptional performance.
- Be willing to travel as required.
Qualifications
- Over 7 years of proven success in digital sales or online media sales targeting executive brand clients and agency partners.
- Well-established and transferable relationships within CPG, restaurant, apparel, or entertainment sectors.
- Consistently exceed sales quotas, demonstrating high-achiever status.
- Track record of securing deals with annual commitments exceeding $1 million.
- Strong consultative selling skills combined with a collaborative and flexible work approach while retaining competitive drive.
- Passion for creatively leveraging data to develop client solutions that maximize value.
- Extensive knowledge of promoted and organic social media practices across major platforms.
- Experience steering and communicating effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Deep understanding of the advertising industry, including direct client and key agency relationships.
- Excellent skills in presentation, public speaking, negotiation, and problem solving.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA is advantageous.
- Enjoys balancing hard work with fun.
