Digital Transformation Director

Overview

We seek an experienced and visionary Digital Transformation Director to spearhead large-scale digital transformation initiatives at the enterprise level. This role involves designing and implementing strategies that modernize technology, processes, and business models, enhancing operational efficiency and fostering innovation throughout the organization. Collaboration with executive leadership, technology divisions, business and product teams, and external partners is essential to drive meaningful and measurable digital progress.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement comprehensive digital transformation strategies that align with organizational goals and long-term vision.
• Lead organization-wide programs to modernize technology infrastructure, business workflows, customer engagement, and operational frameworks.
• Provide strategic guidance and oversight on multiple digital initiatives, ensuring alignment with executive priorities.
• Work closely with senior leadership to establish digital transformation priorities, roadmaps, investment plans, and define measurable business outcomes.
• Identify and utilize cloud computing, AI, automation, data analytics, and emerging digital platforms to boost business performance.

• Manage budgets, resources, schedules, risks, and performance across digital transformation programs.

• Track transformation results, adoption rates, operational enhancements, financial gains, customer impact, and ROI.
• Identify and mitigate risks, barriers, and dependencies in transformation programs.

Candidate Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of digital transformation concepts, enterprise technologies, business strategies, operating models, and change management.
• Proven leadership of large-scale digital or business transformation programs and technology modernization initiatives.
• Strong executive leadership, strategic thinking, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Commercial acumen including experience in business case development, budget oversight, investment evaluation, and ROI measurement.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams spanning technology, data, operations, product, cybersecurity, and business sectors.
• Solid understanding of cloud, AI, automation, data analytics, digital platforms, and emerging tech solutions.
• Familiarity with enterprise architectures, technology roadmaps, and implementing complex technology projects.
• Expertise in program governance, portfolio and risk management, change management, and transformation methodologies.
• Adept at influencing senior executives and managing complex organizational dynamics with competing demands.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic planning skills.
• Experience managing vendor partnerships, consulting firms, system integrators, and strategic suppliers.
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Lean, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills tailored for both technical and non-technical audiences at executive levels.
