DevOps Engineer

About the Role

Join StackBinary as a DevOps Engineer responsible for constructing and managing the infrastructure and deployment pipelines that support our applications. Utilize cutting-edge DevOps technologies to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable software deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines across multiple applications.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code solutions using tools such as Terraform or equivalent.
• Oversee containerized environments using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes.
• Establish and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms for system health.
• Automate deployment processes, including rollback capabilities to ensure stability.
• Optimize cloud resource allocation to improve cost-efficiency without compromising performance.
• Collaborate closely with software development teams to refine deployment methodologies.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of three years' professional experience in DevOps or infrastructure engineering roles.
• Competent in managing cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Practical experience with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
• Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Understanding of core networking and security principles applicable to cloud environments.
• Experience deploying and using monitoring solutions such as Prometheus and Grafana.

Desirable Skills

• Familiarity with service mesh technologies like Istio or Linkerd.
• Exposure to GitOps methodologies utilizing tools such as ArgoCD or Flux.
• Knowledge of configuration management systems including Ansible or Chef.
• Awareness of compliance and governance standards relevant to infrastructure management.
