Detailer (Flat Rate)

Role Overview

Teph Seal Auto Appearance seeks dedicated Detail Specialists to join our team in Jackson, MS, offering flat rate positions with full-time onsite work. We value team players committed to excellent customer service and thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain store facilities ensuring top-quality service delivery.
• Provide exceptional customer care, responding promptly to inquiries and resolving complaints efficiently.
• Perform vehicle cleaning and detailing including washing exteriors, waxing, buffing, vacuuming interiors, cleaning upholstery, and applying protective chemicals.
• Utilize manual dexterity for tasks such as using cloths, buffing machines, air compressors, and applying dyes, paints, and waxes to protect vehicle surfaces.
• Occasionally clean engine compartments and remove grease.
• Adhere to management directives and assist with additional duties as required.

Working Conditions

• Physically demanding activities involving frequent bending, lifting, reaching, squatting, and vehicle ingress/egress.
• Exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
• Handling multiple vehicles daily while using OSHA-approved cleaning products.
• Physical requirements include frequent spine, hand, wrist, and finger movement; lifting or carrying weights up to 50 pounds; excellent vision and hearing.
• Attention to detail to identify imperfections such as streaks, smudges, or missed vacuuming.
• Quality inspection of own and team members' work.
• Maintaining urgency to respect customer time and strict adherence to uniform and grooming standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.

• Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
