Role Overview

The Deployment Strategist partners closely with Forward Deployed Engineers to guide the full deployment process from initial discovery through to live production. This role emphasizes strategic insight and business impact, complementing technical tasks such as prototyping and understanding integration challenges. You’ll apply a strong strategic lens to identify opportunities, evaluate value realistically, and collaborate with engineers to realize high-impact implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with executive stakeholders to discover AI use cases and prioritize them based on real business impact, often uncovering innovative workflow improvements beyond initial client expectations.
• Create early-stage prototypes and demos using Python and AI-powered tools to validate ideas before full-scale development.
• Coordinate ongoing deployments, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, anticipating issues, and serving as the escalation point for clients and engineering teams.
• Determine the sequence for building use cases to maximize compounded value over time.
• Act as the primary business contact for accounts, fostering trust with both executive and operational stakeholders and clearly communicating AI capabilities and limitations.
• Gather and relay structured product feedback to inform platform evolution based on client experiences and patterns observed.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Experience blending deep technical understanding with strategic business insight, such as in technical consulting, product management, startup leadership, or engineering roles with strategic customer engagement.
• Proficiency in Python coding, capable of producing functional prototypes involving LLMs and AI tools like Claude Code.
• Familiarity with APIs, integrations, and embedding AI agents within enterprise systems.
• Strong strategic instincts for identifying and prioritizing actual business value in workflows and presenting actionable plans for senior leadership.
• Exceptional communication skills able to bridge executives, operators, and engineers effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple concurrent initiatives and drive tangible results.
• A founder's mentality characterized by autonomy, ownership, and the ability to thrive in fast-changing, ambiguous environments.
