Responsibilities and Duties

• Drive a vehicle safely to deliver pizzas and marketing materials, such as flyers and door hangers, to customers’ locations.
• Operate store equipment and assist in stocking ingredients from delivery areas to storage and preparation zones.
• Prepare products as needed under supervision.
• Use navigational skills to locate addresses within the delivery area and handle multi-story buildings or challenging terrain.
• Maintain communication with customers and team members effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Handle monetary transactions accurately including making correct change.
• Enter orders efficiently using computer systems or touch screens.

Physical and Work Environment

• Endure a variety of temperatures, from cool storage areas to hot cooking surfaces.
• Be exposed to food-related odors and certain dust types such as cornmeal dust.
• Work in spaces that may be cramped, including walk-in coolers and around hot ovens and sharp tools.
• Engage in physical activities including standing for extended periods, walking short distances, lifting and carrying supplies weighing up to 50 pounds, and occasional climbing.
• Navigate stairs or ladders infrequently for maintenance or stocking tasks.
• Deliveries might require carrying pizzas up to multiple flights of stairs and exposure to adverse weather.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess a valid driver's license with a safe driving record that meets company standards.
• Have access to an insured vehicle suitable for delivery duties.
• Possess strong navigational skills to read maps and locate various delivery addresses.
• Physical capability to carry products and negotiate delivery sites, including multi-story buildings and private homes.
• Basic arithmetic skills to handle transactions and measurements.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under stress, make decisions, and maintain strict quality standards.

Additional Information

• Orientation and on-the-job training will be provided.
• The role demands coordination between eyes and hands for efficient order processing.
• Exposure to varying weather and conditions, both indoors and outdoors, is expected.
