What you will do

• Deliver orders within the assigned area by car and bring them to the customer’s door.
• Operate store equipment and assist with everyday store tasks.
• Move ingredients from the delivery area into storage, the work area, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare menu items and handle customer orders received by phone.
• Count inventory and complete related paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility on a regular daily basis.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers as needed.

Requirements

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid driver’s license, and maintain a safe driving record that meets company standards. A personal insured vehicle that can be used for deliveries is required.

The job also calls for strong navigation skills, including the ability to read a map, find addresses in the delivery zone, and travel through difficult conditions such as multi-story buildings and other challenging terrain.

Team members need to handle customer and coworker communication by phone and in person, follow written instructions accurately, process orders correctly, and work with numbers quickly and accurately for change-making and order handling.

This role involves working independently and with others, managing stress, meeting strict quality expectations, and making sound judgments while performing repetitive tasks.

Work environment and physical demands

The position may involve exposure to changing and sometimes harsh weather while delivering, taking out trash, or completing outdoor tasks. Inside the store, temperatures can range from 36 degrees in cooler areas to 90 degrees or higher in other work areas.

Other conditions may include fumes from food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces such as the walk-in cooler, hot oven surfaces reaching 500 degrees or more, and sharp or moving equipment parts.

The job requires standing for most tasks, frequent walking over short distances, sitting for paperwork, lifting cases and supplies of up to 50 pounds, carrying ingredients and pizza items, pushing or pulling tray dollies, bending, crouching, reaching, and climbing stairs when delivering or completing store tasks.

Driving may include several deliveries per shift within the designated area. The role may also require night vision, depth perception, and the ability to distinguish hot and cold surfaces.
