Delivery Driver (Zero/Casual Hours)

Role overview

GSF Car Parts is seeking a Delivery Driver to represent the brand at customer sites and support the branch with dependable, high-quality deliveries. This casual, zero-hours position is designed to cover holidays and other absences, while helping the business maintain service standards and on-time delivery commitments.

In this role, you will be an important part of a high-performing branch team, providing a positive customer experience, sharing useful customer feedback, and contributing to the branch’s overall success.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver automotive parts to customer locations within a 40-mile radius of the branch.
• Maintain consistently strong customer service in every interaction.
• Pass on relevant feedback about customers and competitor activity to the branch.
• Load the vehicle in line with company procedures.
• Collect customer returns when needed.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and support routine vehicle upkeep.
• Assist in the warehouse whenever branch support is required.
• Help with transfers between branches as needed.

Working pattern

The role can involve up to 41 average hours per week, typically Monday to Friday, with alternate Saturday working depending on branch cover requirements.

Candidate profile

You should be a customer-oriented driver who can work to deadlines, manage time well, and consistently uphold service standards. The role suits someone who is motivated, reliable, and prepared to go the extra mile for customers.

Requirements

• A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• At least 3 years of driving experience.
• Strong familiarity with the branch’s 40-mile operating area.
• Previous experience in a delivery driver position.
• Good understanding of what excellent customer service looks like.
• Ability to work to deadlines with strong timekeeping.
• A customer-first attitude with a drive to achieve results.
