Role Overview

We are seeking a full-time Delivery Driver based in Colchester. This role entails loading, transporting, and delivering meat and related products promptly and safely to restaurant and catering customers. Duties involve checking delivery documentation, confirming order correctness, carefully handling products, and keeping the delivery vehicle clean along with conducting routine vehicle inspections. The driver must adhere to food safety and hygiene protocols, manage delivery forms, and coordinate with the logistics team about routes, schedules, and any delivery concerns. Professional and courteous interaction with customers is essential to represent the company positively.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service abilities to professionally engage with clients and address inquiries related to deliveries.
• Experience in training and sales to ensure proper product handling and occasionally promote offerings.
• Understanding of food and beverage standards, including basic food hygiene and safe meat handling techniques.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean record and experience operating delivery vans or light commercial vehicles.
