What you'll do

• Deliver food by car to customers within the assigned area and bring orders to the customer’s door.
• Hand out flyers and door hangers as part of delivery-related tasks.
• Operate store equipment and support everyday store activities.
• Move ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and cooler space.
• Prepare product and assist with order processing.
• Take telephone orders and enter them accurately.
• Handle inventory counts and related paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the store area on a regular basis.

Job requirements

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid driver's license, and maintain a safe driving record that meets company standards. You also need access to an insured vehicle that can be used for deliveries. The job requires the ability to read a map, find addresses in the delivery zone, and handle difficult terrain such as multi-level buildings, private homes, and other delivery locations. Several deliveries may be completed in a single shift.

Work environment and physical demands

This position involves indoor and outdoor work, including exposure to weather changes, food odors, dust from cornmeal, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving equipment. Store temperatures can range from 36 degrees in cooler areas to 90 degrees or more in some work zones. The job includes standing for most tasks, walking short distances, carrying deliveries, pushing and pulling tray dollies, climbing stairs or ladders when needed, and frequent bending, reaching, and hand use. Deliveries may require carrying pizzas and drinks, and sometimes climbing five or more flights of stairs.

Additional job details

Work may involve stooping at the pizza assembly station, crouching to stock shelves or clean low areas, and reaching in multiple directions throughout the shift. Team members may use tools and equipment such as pencils, pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, and pizza peels. For store operations, they may also need to make accurate judgments, work alone or with others, perform repetitive tasks, and handle strict quality standards.
