The New York Post Internship Program provides a hands-on, immersive experience within the media and news industry. Internship Summary
We are seeking a passionate and innovative Decider Features Intern to join the team this fall for a 10-week, part-time position requiring 24 hours per week onsite in Midtown Manhattan. This paid internship (also eligible for academic credit) is open to current juniors, seniors pursuing a BA, MA students, and recent graduates who earned their degree within the last year. The program runs from September 14, 2026, through November 20, 2026.
Primary Duties
- Conduct research to support the development of features including articles, lists, reports, and deep dives.
- Collect and edit multimedia assets such as images, screencaptures, GIFs, and videos to enhance stories.
- Engage in content planning sessions and contribute fresh ideas for editorial pieces, visual galleries, videos, and social media initiatives.
- Publish approved content on Decider.com and social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to actively engage the audience.
- Assist staff with timely and accurate coverage of breaking entertainment, streaming, and pop culture news.
- Write and report weekly pieces encompassing SEO-friendly articles and blog posts, gaining bylined publication experience.

- Strong skills in writing and editing to create engaging content for readers.

- A collaborative team member eager to learn from and contribute to experienced journalists.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop is mandatory; familiarity with WordPress is an advantage.
Compensation and Policies
