About the Role
We are looking for a detail-focused and inquisitive Data Analytics Intern to work remotely with a rapidly growing confidential startup. This opportunity offers direct collaboration with founding teams, hands-on experience in data extraction, dashboard creation, and enabling data-driven decisions in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Gather, clean, and analyze both structured and unstructured datasets
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to detect trends and patterns
- Create and manage dashboards and business insight reports
- Develop efficient SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation
- Help define business KPIs and performance indicators
- Work collaboratively with product, marketing, and business units
- Communicate insights clearly and in an actionable way
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related disciplines
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
- Basic skills in SQL
- Familiar with Python libraries like Pandas and NumPy or similar tools
- Knowledge of data visualization platforms such as Tableau or Power BI
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with real-world datasets or running analytics projects
- Understanding of business metrics and performance monitoring
- Exposure to statistical analysis and A/B testing methodologies
