Job summary
We are looking for an analytical and detail-focused Data Analyst to join a remote team. In this work-from-home role, you will gather, structure, examine, and interpret data to support decision-making and strengthen day-to-day operations. You will partner with teams across the organization to spot patterns, build reports, and turn findings into practical recommendations. This opportunity suits someone with strong analytical ability, sharp attention to detail, and the discipline to work effectively on their own in a remote setup.
Key responsibilities
- Gather data from different sources, organize it, and carry out analysis.
- Build reports, dashboards, and visual outputs that assist business decisions.
- Track KPIs and look for meaningful trends or recurring patterns.
- Check data for accuracy and completeness before sharing results.
- Keep databases, spreadsheets, and reporting tools current and well-maintained.
- Work with internal teams to understand business needs and provide analytical support.
- Carry out data cleaning, validation, and quality checks.
- Prepare regular reports as well as one-time reports for management.
- Communicate insights and recommendations in a concise, easy-to-understand way.
- Support process improvement efforts using data-driven analysis.
- Protect sensitive company and customer information.
- Handle other analytical and administrative tasks when assigned.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, or a related subject is an advantage.
- Experience in data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, or administrative support is preferred, though not mandatory.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Good command of Microsoft Excel; familiarity with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools is a plus.
- Strong organizational habits and excellent attention to detail.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interpret data and translate it into useful insights.
- Comfort working independently, managing multiple priorities, and operating in a remote environment.
- A dependable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace at home are required.
