Position Summary

As a Customer Strategy & Operations Specialist, you will lead strategic initiatives within the Customer Organization. This role transcends typical project management by actively uncovering opportunities to boost operational efficiency, implementing best practices, and crafting scalable playbooks and procedures. Collaboration with business leaders and cross-functional teams will be key to achieving strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Steer cross-functional projects from initial planning stages through to completion within the Customer Organization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to clearly define project goals, develop execution strategies, and ensure alignment across various teams.
• Manage project schedules, maintain governance processes, and handle communications to keep all parties informed on progress.
• Monitor and report on decisions, progress, risks, challenges, and provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders.
• Spot ways to enhance planning, execution, and operations while contributing to the creation of scalable playbooks, templates, and process improvements.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Holder of a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline coupled with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management, business operations, consultancy, or a related field.
• Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and capability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-moving work environment.
• Able to operate autonomously, exercise sound judgment, and identify when to request assistance.
• Proven track record of leading complex, cross-departmental projects within a matrixed organizational structure.
• Demonstrated passion for achieving results, fostering continuous improvement, and generating tangible business outcomes.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and processes aimed at continuous improvement.
• Experience using project management software such as Airtable is advantageous.

Additional Information

DraftKings is a publicly traded technology company headquartered in Boston. Employment may require obtaining a state-issued gaming license based on the role’s regulatory needs; support will be provided through this process if applicable.

This full-time opportunity offers a salary range of $83,200 to $104,000 annually in the U.S., complemented by potential bonuses, equity, and benefits. Compensation depends on role, level, location, skills, experience, and educational background. Massachusetts law prohibits lie detector tests as a condition for employment or continued work.
