About the Role
We are seeking two enthusiastic and approachable Customer Care Consultants to become valued members of our supportive team at the Mackay Trade Store. This role operates as the main point of contact within the store, directly interacting with customers. Ideal candidates will have solid experience in retail or customer service and enjoy working collaboratively to ensure daily store operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent face-to-face customer service as the primary responsibility.
- Guide customers in choosing appropriate industrial products and offer practical advice.
- Maintain the shop floor with cleanliness, proper stock levels, and organization.
- Assist with restocking inventory, conducting stocktakes, and merchandising displays.
- Handle and move stock safely, adhering to workplace guidelines.
- Recognize and report customer or operational concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with the team to foster a safe, efficient, and supportive environment.
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in retail, trade, or customer-centric roles, or openness to begin a retail career.
- Effective communication skills and strong customer service approach in face-to-face settings.
- Proactive, reliable, with a motivation to contribute positively to the workplace.
- Physically able to handle stock according to workplace safety standards.
