Role Overview
A multi-specialty hospital in Cooch Behar is seeking a Critical Care Consultant to manage patients in the ICU and support advanced emergency care. The facility is known for modern infrastructure, round-the-clock emergency services, and serving patients across North Bengal and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
You will oversee the care of critically ill patients, including ventilator support and hemodynamic monitoring, while leading urgent interventions when needed. The role also involves working closely with doctors and support teams from different specialties, following established critical care protocols, and ensuring accurate clinical records along with compliance to quality standards.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant should have an MD/DNB in Anaesthesiology, or an MBBS degree with IDCCM certification, along with 5 to 6 years of hands-on critical care experience. Strong capability in ventilator handling, hemodynamic assessment, and emergency response is essential. The right candidate should remain composed under pressure, make quick decisions, and keep patient safety at the center of every action.
