Role Overview

We seek a founding Creative Video Producer responsible for managing Arketa's content production end-to-end—from ideation and filming to directing and editing. You will work on diverse content including paid ads, founder storytelling, and studio partner features. This is a pioneering role where you will establish and optimize the creative production process from the ground up.

Team Environment

You'll collaborate closely with the content and marketing teams and have direct interaction with the founder on content series. The team values agility and creativity with a fast-paced culture allowing rapid content deployment, prioritizing good work completed on time over perfection. You will have significant creative autonomy and opportunity to develop scalable workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce long-form brand videos across formats such as interviews, documentaries, and behind-the-scenes features, managing all logistics and post-production.
• Cover live brand events and pop-ups, creating same-day polished content and making quick decisions in uncontrolled settings.
• Originate and script video concepts alongside the content team, managing external freelancers when specialized skills are required.
• Develop lightweight systems for briefing, production workflows, and asset management, including building and maintaining a raw footage and B-roll library for team usage.

Success Milestones

• Within 30 days: Establish rapport with the team, master Arketa’s brand voice and visuals, and deliver initial content pieces.
• Within 60 days: Independently lead founder’s content series, complete first studio partner story, and formulate insights to enhance social media content strategy.
• Within 90 days: Solidify a functioning content production system, develop an asset library, and improve social content quality and output consistency.

Candidate Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in video or creative production, covering shooting, lighting, directing, and editing.
• A strong and varied portfolio demonstrating expertise in short-form social media, brand storytelling, or advertising content is required.
• Proficiency at an expert level with Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar editing software, able to take a project from shoot through final edit independently.
• Excellent creative judgment with a clear perspective on content quality and viewer engagement.
• Proven capability to shoot and direct non-professional talent such as founders and instructors.
• Experience functioning as a sole full-time production specialist, with the ability to establish a production function rather than merely executing assigned tasks.
• Skilled in managing, briefing, and maintaining high standards with freelance contributors.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to deliver quality content with limited supervision.

Desirable Skills

• Background in fitness, wellness, or lifestyle media content creation.
• Skills in motion graphics or basic animation.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted editing workflows.
