Overview
This role involves providing efficient and courteous pickup and delivery of packages along designated routes, while ensuring all shipments comply with FedEx Canada’s service standards. The position also includes delivering exceptional customer service allowing smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform timely collection and delivery of parcels on assigned routes.
- Verify all shipments meet FedEx Canada's service criteria.
- Deliver customer service related functions professionally.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.
- Capable of lifting up to 70 lbs and maneuvering packages weighing as much as 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.
- Minimum one year of customer-focused business experience preferred.
- Successfully pass mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training.
- Familiarity with FedEx Canada practices and Canadian Customs regulations is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and communication capabilities.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service aptitude.
- Adeptness at multitasking and stress management in fast-paced environments.
- Flexible to work varying schedules including holidays.
Additional Information
The position requires full-time availability starting shifts at 7 AM, Monday through Saturday. If residing in Quebec, bilingualism in French and English is mandatory.
Successful candidates may be eligible for a retention bonus totaling $2,000, distributed in installments at 30 days, 100 days, 7 months, and 12 months of active employment, subject to applicable deductions.
The hourly wage for this role is $23.80.
