Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Courier to join our team at the Sheffield Service Centre located in Hoyland, S74 9LH. This is a permanent position working onsite from Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 17:00. As a courier, you will be vital in delivering a world-class customer experience by managing the delivery and collection of shipments efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete shipments deliveries and collections punctually meeting time-critical targets and customer expectations.
• Represent DHL professionally, providing consistent, high-quality service during all customer interactions.
• Establish and maintain strong customer relationships and identify potential ways to support the business.
• Plan and prioritize your delivery route daily, adapting to operational changes as necessary to meet deadlines.
• Ensure safety and compliance by conducting vehicle inspections, loading shipments properly, and adhering to all company policies and security standards.
• Handle shipments of various sizes safely and complete all related documentation with accuracy and attention to detail.

Required Skills and Experience

• Previous customer-facing or courier experience, particularly with multi-drop deliveries preferred.
• Strong geographic knowledge and route planning abilities.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Physical capability to meet the demands of the role.
• Possession of a full UK driving licence and willingness to obtain or currently holding a digital tachograph card.
