Core Maintenance Fiber Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a Core Maintenance Fiber Engineer to oversee the operational management and maintenance of fiber network infrastructure. This role involves managing assets and materials, monitoring network performance, supporting operational maintenance and electronics, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage assets, materials, and contracts associated with the core maintenance point.
• Monitor the fiber network performance to ensure compliance with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Support operations and maintenance of infrastructure and access electronics as per SLAs.
• Provide detailed information regarding fiber spans for inter-network, intra-network, and access networks.
• Liaise with the network operations center to swiftly resolve issues.
• Collaborate with operations & maintenance and ISP core teams for resolving critical network problems.
• Ensure sufficient inventory of materials in the CMP warehouse for uninterrupted fiber operations.
• Drive and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) achievement aligned with maintenance goals.
• Implement and adhere to policies related to quality, health, safety, environment, and fire prevention.
• Maintain the fiber network quality and ensure high standards of workmanship during fault restoration activities.

Compensation

The position offers a monthly salary ranging from 25000 to 35000 INR.
