Role Overview - Copywriter for Germany

We seek an experienced German Copywriter to localize and quality-assure creative and web content across marketing and product platforms. This role involves crafting compelling copy tailored to German consumers that maintains Quince’s distinct minimalistic, friendly, elevated tone, augmented with AI tools to ensure accuracy and brand consistency.

Key Responsibilities

Create concise and persuasive copy for German marketing channels including paid social ads, emails, push notifications, SMS, print, and catalogues to drive high click-through and conversion rates.
Collaborate with video editors, graphic designers, and creative teams using AI to translate and audit content ensuring precision and error-free output.
Produce SEM-driven copy alongside paid search teams to optimize performance metrics.
Coordinate with merchandising and engineering teams to localize website and app copy, ensuring perfection across homepage, product, and collection pages.
Localize weekly campaigns such as product launches and promotions, managing 50-100 assets weekly across diverse channels.
Utilize AI tools including ChatGPT, Grammarly, and Smartling AI to improve efficiency and deliver consistent brand-aligned translations at scale.
Adapt messaging to reflect Quince's uniquely minimal, sophisticated, and conversion-centered voice.
Collaborate with SEO teams to create search-optimized content enhancing online visibility.
Engage with customer service teams to incorporate feedback from British customers into content improvements.
Maintain a consistent brand tone across all German-language materials.
Monitor competitor content trends relevant to German markets.
Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively in a dynamic environment.

Candidate Profile

3-5 years of professional experience in German-English copywriting, preferably within fashion, home, lifestyle, or ecommerce sectors.
Strong knowledge of British English nuances compared to other English variants like US or Canadian English.
Experience writing SEM copy in English is advantageous.
Familiarity with Smartling and Iterable platforms is a plus.
Able to perform under fast-paced work conditions with tight deadlines.
