Role Overview

The Coordinator, Repository within the Library Services team plays a critical role in enhancing the visibility, accessibility, and preservation of Southern Cross University's research outputs and researcher profiles. This position involves autonomous responsibilities with leadership support, engaging closely with academic and research staff to manage and improve repository workflows and open access initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the University's research repository to ensure maximum discoverability and preservation of academic outputs and profiles.
  • Provide expert advice on repository services, scholarly communications, and open access policies.
  • Identify and implement improvements in repository systems, workflows, and user experiences through initiative and sound judgement.
  • Generate institutional reports and collaborate with Library Services and University stakeholders to support research excellence.

  • HEW Level 5 remuneration ranging from $83,563 to $92,857 annually, plus 17% employer superannuation contribution, with a total package up to $108,643.
