About the Role

Join the Civil Aviation Authority in Wellington as a Coordinator, People, where you will engage in practical HR activities covering all stages of the employee lifecycle. This role involves being the primary contact for HR-related queries, assisting both leaders and employees with guidance, and ensuring they receive reliable support and advice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for HR inquiries through the AskHR service.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, onboarding, employment status changes, and exit procedures.
  • Prepare accurate employment documents and maintain comprehensive employee records.
  • Assist leaders in utilizing HR processes and self-service systems effectively.
  • Investigate and resolve routine HR issues while escalating complex concerns appropriately.
  • Contribute to ongoing HR projects and initiatives aimed at process improvements.
  • Ensure all HR systems, documentation, and workflows are precise, efficient, and functional.
