About the Jugendherberge Haltern am See
The Jugendherberge Haltern am See accommodation features 234 beds and welcomes around 17,000 guests annually. A dedicated team of 27 staff members serves families with children, school groups, sports teams, conference participants, and attendees of holiday programs. Besides the main house, there is a "Roman Village" consisting of six houses accommodating up to 66 people.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that guests feel comfortable in a clean and well-maintained youth hostel environment.
- Perform thorough cleaning tasks after guests’ departures and maintain ongoing cleanliness following quality standards.
- Carry out standard cleaning duties within the kitchen and dining areas.
- Adopt environmentally friendly practices when using cleaning agents.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in room and building cleaning is required.
- Basic proficiency in German language is necessary.
- Show readiness to work flexibly, reliably, and with commitment.
- Enjoy working collaboratively within a team and contribute pro-actively.
- Bring ideas to enhance service quality and actively participate in implementation.
- Comfortable working in an environment involving international visitors and lively children and youth groups.
