Role overview
Amey is hiring an on-site Contractor Escort for HMP Lincoln. This position supports the safe, compliant, and timely delivery of planned and reactive maintenance work inside the prison environment.
Pay and working hours
The annual salary for this role is £27,426. Working hours are 39 per week, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with an earlier finish on Fridays.
What you will be doing
- Carrying out contractor checks and monitoring site activity to support safety and control.
- Completing site induction duties for contractors and other relevant visitors.
- Providing flexible support across operational areas when needed, including assisting contractors working on site.
- Supporting local and wider zero carbon initiatives in a practical and efficient way where appropriate.
- Helping maintain health and safety standards across the contract.
What you need to bring
- A professional, customer- and client-focused approach to service delivery.
- A flexible, committed, and energetic attitude toward varied duties.
- The ability to follow instructions and work in line with safety procedures and policies.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Strong awareness of safety and security requirements.
- The confidence to identify and challenge risks or possible compromises.
Security and clearance
Prison Security Clearance is required. Amey will support the successful candidate through that process.
