About the Role

An esteemed hospital in Saudi Arabia seeks a Contract Consultant to offer specialized guidance and oversight on all contracting activities. This position is pivotal in aligning contracts with organizational aims and regulatory standards, enhancing contract management processes, and nurturing strong partnerships with stakeholders to facilitate effective procurement contract creation.

Key Duties

  • Create and execute forward-thinking contracting strategies consistent with long-term goals.
  • Streamline contract management workflows to boost operational efficiency and decrease expenses.
  • Build and maintain robust relationships with crucial stakeholders to surpass their expectations.
  • Detect and mitigate risks related to contracts to safeguard organizational interests.
  • Promote ongoing improvement in contracting methods through regular training and best practice updates.
  • Evaluate detailed purchase requisitions ensuring adherence to procurement policies.
  • Draft and assess contract terms for compliance with organizational benchmarks.
  • Offer expert advice on contractual concerns to various departments.
  • Lead supplier and vendor contract negotiations to secure optimal outcomes.
  • Perform risk analyses and suggest mitigation plans for possible contractual risks.
  • Keep comprehensive documentation of all contracts and related files.
  • Track contract performance and compliance, resolving any discrepancies or issues.
  • Analyze contracting information to pinpoint cost-saving possibilities.
  • Ensure contracts are renewed and amended punctually as necessary.

Experience and Education

  • Over 16 years of experience in supply chain contracting or connected procurement roles.
  • A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or an equivalent qualification.

Language Requirements

Proficient English language skills are essential, with an advanced level preferred.
