Role overview
Embraer Services & Support / Defense (EMEA) is looking for a proactive and capable Contract Administrator to support the EMEA Defense Aftermarket Services and Support team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
This role centers on managing complex contracts across their full lifecycle, keeping delivery on track, and ensuring commercial and financial goals are met.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end contract administration process for Services & Support, from initiation through closure.
- Track contract obligations, milestone delivery, and alignment with revenue, cost, and gross margin targets.
- Review financial outcomes tied to contracts and support forecasting as well as performance reporting.
- Serve as a connecting point between internal teams and customers to encourage coordination, integration, and open communication.
- Assess risks, spot early indicators of issues, and recommend actions that reduce disruption to contract execution.
- Handle customer communication professionally and clearly to support strong client satisfaction.
Candidate profile
- A degree in Business Management, Engineering, or a similar discipline is expected.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, is required.
- Arabic and/or Portuguese language skills are considered an added advantage.
- Prior experience handling complex contract administration, ideally in the Defense or Aerospace industry, is preferred.
- Strong grasp of contract structures, financial measures, and project delivery is needed.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work across all levels internally and with outside partners are essential.
- The role calls for confident leadership and sound judgment in fast-moving, complicated situations.
- High standards of organization, planning, and day-to-day task management are important.
- A flexible, responsive, and customer-focused approach is necessary.
- Ability to perform under pressure while managing several priorities accurately is important.
- Knowledge of the defense market and Embraer products is a strong plus.
- Experience with PMBOK, Salesforce, SAP, and/or CoPilot tools is highly desirable.
- Willingness to travel internationally at short notice is required.
