About Clad Pad

Clad Pad is an Irish startup launched in May 2024 by Eythan Kellet and Terence McGivern. Operating from Ardglassan House in Kells, County Meath, the business has developed and patented a range of magnetic protection solutions for advanced industrial construction and development.

Its flagship product is a reusable magnetic padding system designed to safeguard cladding and white wall panels. Built for durability and sustainability, the system helps reduce construction waste by replacing single-use timber and corriboard padding, while also lowering costs through reuse. The Role

Clad Pad is looking for a Commercial Director, Europe to open doors, build trusted relationships with key decision-makers, and drive new business across the region. This is a senior, client-facing position for someone with established credibility and deep experience in the sector.

You will represent Clad Pad in the European market and help accelerate both awareness and opportunity generation beyond the company’s current customer base. The focus is on creating new business opportunities, while the founders will support deal closing, especially at the beginning. Your remit is to place Clad Pad in front of the right stakeholders, secure the right conversations, and develop relationships that lead to recurring, high-volume orders.

This is a field-based position. Frequent travel across Europe will be required, with flexibility and autonomy in how you manage your schedule between meetings and engagements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business for the company’s cladding and asset protection products with main contractors, specifiers, and developers involved in European data centre and pharma projects.
  • Expand the customer base across new contractors, developers, and geographic markets.
  • Represent Clad Pad at a senior level and build direct relationships with influential decision-makers across Europe.
  • Create, qualify, and manage a sales pipeline until handover for closing with the founding team.
  • Bring market and sector insights back into product specification and brand strategy.
  • Help position Clad Pad as a leading name in cladding and asset protection across Europe.

What You Should Bring

You should have a strong, current network within European data centre and/or pharma construction, along with the credibility to reach senior stakeholders directly. The right person will have a proven record of originating and developing substantial new business, rather than only managing existing accounts or delivery work.

You will also need enough technical understanding of specification and industry standards to confidently present the product to engineers and specifiers. Success in this role will depend on thriving in a founder-led, fast-moving business environment without the support structure of a large corporation. Extensive travel across Europe must be acceptable to you.
