Role Overview

We are collaborating with a prominent technology-focused company seeking an experienced Principal Commercial Analyst to join their commercial leadership team. Reporting to senior leadership, you will contribute to shaping commercial strategies, uncover growth prospects, and drive overall performance across various markets and revenue channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead detailed commercial performance assessments across diverse markets, products, and revenue streams.
• Analyze trends, forecast risks, and identify new opportunities to assist strategic decision-making.
• Produce high-level reporting and actionable performance insights tailored for senior executives.
• Collaborate with commercial and operational teams to challenge assumptions and improve business outcomes.
• Design and implement analytical frameworks and reporting tools to support enhanced decision-making.
• Offer commercially driven suggestions that promote revenue growth and profitability.
• Contribute to business planning, forecasting, and performance evaluation activities.
• Mentor and influence other analysts to elevate analytical standards throughout the organization.

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates will have demonstrated strong commercial and strategic problem-solving abilities within domains such as strategy consulting, corporate finance, transaction services, deals, commercial finance, financial planning & analysis, revenue strategy, or commercial analytics.

• 3 to 5 years of experience in commercial, strategy, consulting, or finance roles.
• Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills to dissect and structure complex business challenges.
• Robust commercial acumen with a deep understanding of revenue, profitability, and performance drivers.
• Proven experience communicating insights and recommendations effectively to senior management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• A proactive, inquisitive, and solution-driven approach.

Preferred Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, or related fields.
• Professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA, or equivalent are advantageous.
• Experience in dynamic sectors such as technology, digital commerce, eCommerce, or travel is beneficial.
