Role Overview
Nour Arjaan by Rotana is looking for a proactive and service-oriented colleague accommodation attendant to help keep staff housing clean, organized, and comfortable. The role supports the Human Resources function by ensuring that colleague accommodation is maintained to a high hygienic standard and that any issues are handled quickly and followed through.
Key Responsibilities
- Keep all shared areas in the accommodation clean and presentable.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene at all times, with special attention to bathroom areas.
- Clean public spaces within and surrounding the accommodation premises.
- Raise maintenance requests immediately for any repair needs and keep track of outstanding items until completion.
- Prepare rooms for incoming colleagues according to the standard operating procedures.
- Ensure newly assigned accommodation is clean, sanitary, and in good condition.
- Track and maintain stock records for new linen purchased for colleagues.
- Look after the furniture storage area within the accommodation.
- Remove garbage on a daily basis.
- Escalate colleague complaints about accommodation to the Director of Human Resources or the Human Resources Manager.
- Prevent misuse of equipment and furniture, fixtures, and equipment in the accommodation.
Education, Experience, and Skills
The position calls for a high school qualification along with prior experience in a similar or related role. Strong English communication skills are required, and computer knowledge will be considered an advantage. The right candidate should be helpful, polite, and positive, with strong social skills that support effective interaction with colleagues. A fair, friendly, and approachable manner is important, together with the ability to understand the job, take responsibility, respect differences, stay customer-focused, adapt to changing needs, and work well in a team.
